Chester Business of the Month: Young Appliance has been at it almost 25 years

Mike and Leslie Young, co-owners of Young Appliance, started their business out of their home in 1996.

They began by doing home service repair on most major appliances. In 2002, they moved into their current location at 1517 Swanwick St. in Chester, and began selling major name brand appliances including Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchen Aid, and Amana.

The business also sells parts and accessories for most major appliances, like refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, dishwashers, washers and dryers. Mike and Leslie do in-home repairs, make all the deliveries, and do the service themselves.
