Perry County CEO to host Trivia Night fundraiser

PINCKNEYVILLE - Perry County CEO, an organization of junior and senior high school students interested in business careers, is having a fun-filled Trivia Night fundraiser at the Eagles Lodge-Annex Building at 13 S. Walnut St. in Pinckneyville on Saturday, Jan. 12. Doors will open at 6 p.m.and trivia begins at 6:30. Teams of eight will compete at a cost of $100 per team.

Perry CEO will be using this fundraiser for seed money to launch its individual businesses.

What is Perry CEO?

Funded by business investors in Perry County

Open to Perry County high school juniors and seniors

Meets 90 minutes each day in area businesses (not school)

Provides community college credits

Visits to dozens of area businesses and learn from guest speakers

Develop a network of contacts across the country

Develop and run a class business together

Start and run their own individual business

Host an annual spring Trade Show

The group is asking for donations for the silent auction portion of the trivia night fundraiser.
