Parker Bradshaw and Aubree Thompson are Marion Students of the Week.
Parker, 10, is a fifth-grader at Lincoln Elementary School. His teacher, Dawn Brown, recommended him for Student of the Week.
"Parker Bradshaw is an amazing student. He is an incredible thinker, both logically and creatively," she said. "Not only is he efficient and super organized, he keeps our classroom organized. In addition, he is always willing to help out and has outstanding character. A bright future lies ahead!"
Parker's favorite subject is math. "I think it's relaxing, fun," he said. "It's really satisfying to do a really big problem and you get it right."
When he's not at school, Parker's favorite activities include spending quality time with his family, which often involves watching movies, playing board games and going out to eat.
His favorite movie is "Titanic," and his favorite TV show is "The Good Doctor." His favorite author is Katherine Applegate, who wrote "Crenshaw" and "The One and Only Ivan."
Parker's favorite food is mac and cheese, and his favorite color is neon blue. When he grows up, Parker wants to be an engineer or computer coder.
Aubree, 11, is a fifth-grader at Jefferson Elementary School. Her teacher, Wendy Goodman, recommended her for Student of the Week.
"Aubree is responsible and attentive, and her attitude is always positive," she said. "She always has a smile on her face. Aubree sees the good things. Kids enjoy being around her."
Aubree's favorite subject is social studies.
"I like learning about history, like wars," she said.
When she's not at school, Aubree likes playing with her chocolate lab, Chaco. She also enjoys reading books in the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series.
Her favorite TV show is "K.C. Undercover," and her favorite singer is Rachel Platten. Her favorite food is mac and cheese, and her favorite color is mint green.
When she grows up, Aubree wants to be an eye doctor.
