Spring plant sale this week at Pinckneyville High School

PINCKNEYVILLE - Pinckneyville High School agriculture teacher Austin McAlister has announced that the Greenhouse Plant Sale started Monday of this week and continues through Friday. Sale hours are from 4-7 p.m. until all plants are sold.

Horticulture students have worked throughout the semester, McAlister said, to prepare plants to go from greenhouse to garden.

Available for purchase are: geraniums, 6-inch pot, $4; citronella, 6-inch pot, $5; beef steak and Big Boy tomatoes, 6-inch pot, $4 or six packs for $3. The club will also sell impatiens, begonias and petunias.
