Bikers turn out for annual Eisenhauer Memorial Ride

The 10th Annual Wyatt D. Eisenhauer Memorial Ride/Poker Run was held Saturday, June 9, originating in Pinckneyville and continuing throughout Perry County and into adjoining counties.

Eisenhauer, a Private First Class in the Army, was killed May 19, 2005 while serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was 26.

After the ride, the public was invited to participate in a dinner at the Columbian Club in Pinckneyville, complete with live auctions, raffles and poker. Proceeds go to the Wyatt D. Eisenhauer Memorial Fund, which provides scholarships to PCHS seniors.
