One injured in Percy school bus crash

A 48-year-old Valier resident was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Pine Street in Percy on Tuesday.

According to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office crash report, a 2007 International school bus - driven by 75-year-old Mary White of Gorham - was coming to a stop at the railroad crossing on Pine Street.

Approaching from behind was a 2013 Chrysler (no model type listed) driven by Brian Minor. Minor told responding law enforcement that he noticed the bus's flashing lights, looked down at his instrument panel and the vehicles collided.

Minor was transported to Sparta Community Hospital for treatment and no tickets were issued at the scene. White and two passengers on her bus, 65-year-old Linda Musselmann of Ava and a 4-year-old child from Willisville, were not injured in the accident.

Randolph County Sheriff Shannon Wolff told the Herald Tribune the bus came from Trico. The accident was reported at 6:28 a.m.
