Time for a change

For decades, the entrance to Benton's Industrial Park on Bailey Lane has sported a sign listing the park's businesses.

The "Benton Industrial Park" sign was originally established by the Benton Civic and Industrial Commission. It has served the area well, but the large metal sign was showing signs of age and was in need of repairs.

It was also located on property belonging to Mincon.

Mincon manufactures and distributes a range of precision-engineered hard rock drilling tools. Having expanded its business, Mincon was in need of a new sign.

After much consideration, the Benton/West City Economic Development Committee decided it was time for a change.

The old sign was removed and replaced with the new Mincon sign.
