CARBONDALE -- Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, Inc., a legal aid provider in central and Southern Illinois, has officially launched a new corporate brand identity, name and tagline. The organization will now be known as Land of Lincoln Legal Aid. Among the other changes will be its logo, tagline, and domain name (lincolnlegal.org).
"Land of Lincoln has a great reputation of providing free civil legal services to low income people, but our name needed an update to be more descriptive of our mission," said Board President, John Thies.
"Putting 'Legal Aid' in our name clarifies our identity," he continued. "And adding 'Breaking Barriers to Justice' as a tagline highlights what we've been doing for 47 years and will continue to do."
