Optimist Club hosts 44th annual egg hunt in Pinckneyville

PINCKNEYVILLE - The Pinckneyville Optimist Club hosted its 44th annual Easter Egg Hunt for the first time at Quillman Field at PCHS.

The sunny, but windy day made for an enjoyable time for children ages 2-8, which were divided into three groups: 2-3, 4-5, and 6-8 for the gathering of eggs that contained candy and markers for toy prizes and two $50 prizes per age group.

Optimist Club members expressed appreciation to PCHS for the use of the field with its convenient parking and space for the children to enjoy the morning with the Easter Bunny.
