Back to school in Pinckneyville
PINCKNEYVILLE - In addressing the whole school to start the 2019 Back to School Bash, PCHS Principal Tony Wilson encouraged students to get involved, to be a part of their school, stating, "No matter where you came from, we're all one! Now, we're all Panthers."
PCHS students and faculty spent the morning of the first day of school dancing, playing games like Tug-of-War, and getting to know one another before heading to an abbreviated schedule of their classes in the afternoon.
New faculty members dressed for the Back to School Bash. The senior class won the Tug-of-War contest.
Faculty members also handed out Back to School Bash T-shirts provided by First National Bank of Pinckneyville and Murphy-Wall State Bank for all 400-plus students and staff.
