Deadline to register for Saluki Football Fan Bus to SEMO is Aug. 25

CARBONDALE - There is still room available for Saluki fans who want to travel to Cape Girardeau on Aug. 29 for the season-opening football game vs. SEMO. Saluki Athletics has reserved two buses to provide free transportation for fans, as well as a free Saluki pregame tailgate with food and beverages. Fans must purchase general admission game tickets ($15/Adults, $6/Youth) through the SEMO ticket office.

Fans should park in Lot 56 (next to Lew Hartzog Track and Field Complex) by 1:45 p.m. on Aug. 29. The bus leaves Lot 56 promptly at 2 p.m. The bus arrives in Cape Girardeau at 3 p.m. and will take fans directly to the Saluki Tailgate.

Fans must be back on the bus 25 minutes after the game ends. Pickup location will be back at the Saluki Tailgate. Fans must ride the bus back to Carbondale unless athletic staff is notified prior to the trip and a release form is signed.

Tickets are $15 (Adults General Admission) and $6 (Youth General Admission). Tickets are available online, over the phone, or in-person at the SEMO Ticket Office. There is a $2-per-ticket Fee for orders placed online.

In-person orders can be made at One University Plaza, MS0200, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or at the gate beginning one hour prior to kickoff.

Bus Rules

Passengers must sign a waiver before riding on bus. Waivers will be provided on site before entering the bus.

No alcohol will be allowed on the bus

Passengers may bring snacks and nonalcoholic beverages

Students 21 and up can consume alcohol once in Cape Girardeau

Saluki Athletics tailgate is open to all fans from 3-6 p.m.
