Florena 'Flo' Linton, formerly of Harrisburg

Florena "Flo" Linton, age 92, resident of Kingston, Mich., formerly of Harrisburg, passed away 2 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018, in the Marlette Hospital in Marlette, Mich.

She was born on March 23, 1925 in Pope County, Illinois, daughter of the late Melvin Otis Morse and Ollie Morse.

Flo married Robert Linton on October 17, 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 5, 1988. She was a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church and she retired from General Motors in Pontiac, Mich.

She is survived by her daughters; Judy (David) Ball of Prescot, Ariz., and Jannette (Charlie) Minish of Ortonville, Mich., a son: Robert (Cherie) Linton of Kingston, Mich., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will precede burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. The Rev. Harl Cockrum will officiate the service.

Those planning to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to the time of service.
