Sharron Lee Ahlfeldt of Fargo, N.D.

Sharron Lee Ahlfeldt, of Fargo, N.D., was called into eternal life on Monday, May 14, 2018, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer.

Sharron was born in Chicago, Ill., on Sept. 29, 1946, to Steve and Helen (Salazar) Burak. Sharron attended West Leyden High school where she graduated in 1964. Shortly after graduation, Sharron met the love of her life, Bill Ahlfeldt, at Automatic Electric (GTE), where they both worked. They married at Norwood Park Lutheran Church, in Chicago on Sept. 18, 1965.

Sharron is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill Ahlfeldt of Fargo; son, Bill Ahlfeldt and daughter-in-law, Stephanie (Hamilton) Ahlfeldt of Fargo; grandchildren, Will and Ellie Ahlfeldt of Fargo; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Janet Burak of Algonquin, Ill.; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Karen Burak of Clifton Park, N.Y.; niece, Allison Burak; nephews, David Burak, Dan Burak, and Matthew (Stacey) Burak; extended family: John, Marian, Adam, Vanessa, Sofia, Jack, and Jude Hamilton; church family at First Lutheran Church, and her work family at the Cass County Courthouse.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 18, at First Lutheran Church, Fargo, N.D.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, followed by a Prayer Service at 7 p.m.

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, N.D.

Memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church Foundation, or Oak Grove Lutheran School.
