Ronald J. Bishop, formerly of Marion

Ronald J. Bishop, 74, of Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Marion, died at 4:55 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2018 at Linda White Hospice House in Evansville.

Ronald was born in Chicago, the son of Joseph F. Bishop and Katherine M. (Priori) Bishop. The family later moved to Marion.

Ronald was a truck driver. He was also a decorated Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He earned the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Air Medal (7-OLC) and Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Ronald is the beloved brother of Kathleen (Tom) Howard and Arlene (John) Angerame. Both survive. He was also a loving uncle to Michael Angerame, Lisa Drewes, Annette Stoner and Diane Story, as well as a proud great-uncle to many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A private memorial service is being planned by the family.
