Betty Jane Vaughn, formerly of Creal Springs

Betty Jane Vaughn, age 89, resident of Carterville and formerly of Creal Springs, passed away at 2:23 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2018 in St. Louis University Hospital.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, 2018 at the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, with the Rev. Cody Knapik officiating.

Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery in rural Creal Springs.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of services at 1 p.m. on Friday.
