Lillian M. Jackson, formerly of Stonefort

Lillian M. Jackson, age 81, a resident of Centralia and former resident of Stonefort, passed away at 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.

Lil was born in Tipton County on June 8, 1937 to Fred and Thelma Hunt Wittkamper. She married James Jackson on Sept. 16, 1960 and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2009.

She is survived by two daughters, Robyn (Brad) Morris of Centralia and Anita Sue (Larry) Miller of Hebron; a son, David E (Gayla) Jackson of Mattoon; 12 grandchildren Brandren M. and his wife Sammy Morris, Courtney R. Morris, Kaylee N. Morris, Kelsey M. Morris, as well as Prodige, Gideon, Layla, Boaz, Judah Miller and Sierra, Moriah, and Elisha.

A great-grandchild is excitedly expected in July.

She also is survived by sisters Janice (Larry) Purnpaugh of Noblesville, Indiana and Betty Stockdale of Anderson, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and one sister, Shirley Winttkamper.

Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is serving the family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019 in the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. The Rev. Jim Jackson will officiate the services. Family will receive friends after 10 a.m. on Saturday. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery east of Ozark.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund in Centralia.
