Harry McCollum, Jr., 62, of Du Quoin, passed away at 11:19 p.m., Thursday, July 4, 2019 at his residence.
Harry was a mold pourer for a taxidermy supply company. He was an avid fisherman.
He was born Aug. 28, 1956 in Du Quoin, the son of Harry Sr. and Nellie M. (Wendling) McCollum.
Harry is survived by one son, Clinton (Kerri) McCollum of Elgin, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Sheila McCollum of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; friends, Kevin and Frances Presswood and Steve and Sharon Toler; and his dog, Wrigley.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Stephen McCollum.
Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with the Rev. Joe Wagner officiating. Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Friends are invited to make memorials to the Arthritis Foundation, which will be accepted at the funeral home.
