Jacqueline V. Mifflin of Du Quoin

DU QUOIN - Jacqueline V. Mifflin, 87, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:35 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 in the Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Jacqueline was born on Oct. 9, 1931 in Du Quoin, the daughter of Guy H. and Virginia Helen (Weinberg) Mifflin.

Jacqueline worked as a lab aide for Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for many years until she retired in 1992. She was a member of the Du Quoin Women's Club and First Christian Church of Du Quoin.

Jacqueline is survived by several cousins and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Maurice Mifflin.

Graveside funeral services will be held at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Du Quoin at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 7 with Pastor Bill Wiggs Jr. officiating.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Du Quoin, or the Perry County Humane Society.
