Logan Men's Hoops inks St. Louis standout

CARTERVILLE - Isaiah Ervin of Hazelwood Central High School in St. Louis has signed a letter of intent to attend John A. Logan College.

"Isaiah is a very good shooter with great basketball skills," said Vols head coach Kyle Smithpeters. "He should be able to come in and contribute immediately."

Ervin, a 6-2 guard, averaged 19 points per game last season and was a First-Team All-District selection.

"I visited Logan and met the players they have returning and decided this was a good spot for me," said Ervin. "I love to score the basketball and am also a good passer and defender. I am excited to get started."
