CARTERVILLE -- Only a few openings remain for the John A. Logan College men's basketball fall league.

The popular event is for high school players from the classes of 2020 to 2023. It will be for high school teams and individuals and will include games on Aug. 25 and Sept. 15 and 22. There will be nine players on each team and all players will play in every game.

Games at Logan will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with two 20-minute halves with continuous clock until the final minute of the first half and final two minutes of the game.

Last year, the event attracted over 150 players from three states.

"This is a really good event for us," said Logan head coach Kyle Smithpeters. "College coaches and recruiting services will be invited to attend. It is a good chance for players to get in competition and for coaches to see prospects for the future."
