IHSA State Wrestling: Panther Grapplers Hoping for Wrestle-Backs

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Both Pinckneyville Community High School representatives at the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 1A Wrestling State Tournament lost opening round matches Friday afternoon.

Walter Eiskant (119) and Tyler Rice (171) are hoping to compete in Saturday's wrestle-back (consolation) round.

Eiskant (28-12) lost by technical fall (16-1) in 4:31 to Cory Matlock from LeRoy while Rice was beaten by fall at 3:05 by Stanford-Olympia's Travis McDannald.

Rice's record is 30-7. The state meet is being held in Assembly Hall on the University of Illinois campus.
