Du Quoin Man Charged With identity Theft

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ A 21-year-old Du Quoin man faces a preliminary hearing at 8:30 a.m. Friday on charges of identity theft of less than $300, misuse of a credit card in excess of $300 and theft with intent to con a person for an amount less than $300.

Matthew W. Jackson of 3192 Branch Street in Du Quoin was arrested January 22, 2009 by SIU security police for identity theft.

All charges are Class 3 felonies.

The complaint identifies the victim of the alleged theft as Brian Fiore.

The Jackson County State's Attorney's office is in charge of the case
