Du Quoin Indianettes Defending State Title

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Du Quoin Indianettes Defending State Title--The Du Quoin High School Indianette dance team defended its state title over the weekend, bringing home the 1st place trophy as "hip hop" champions. The state champions are (front row) Cameryn Cook, Jessica Coleman, Arianne Emling and Caitlin Asbury (second row) coach Brandon Baxter, juniors Lindsey Chapman, Amy Restoff, Alex Dusch, Taylor Heck, coach LaTasha Baxter (third row) sophomores Mackenzie Schallom, Lauren Payne, Kelsey Toler, Carleigh Cook Megan Taylor and (fourth row) freshmen Elizabeth Gross, Airika Galli, Christy Toler, Lauren Helsley, Sasha Mozelewski and Brittany Ward. The Indianettes also placed fifth in the Class A dance category. Pinckneyville Takes Three Trophies--The Pinckneyville team won second in the kick competition, third in poms and fourth in lyrical competition. Congratulations to all.
