The Fighting Falcons scored their lone two runs on back-to-back bases loaded walks to Kyle Kempfer and Bryce Mathis. An infield single by Mathis turned out to be the lone hit for Elverado.

Troy Stewart pitched the first three innings for EHS with freshman Dalton Porter surrendering just one run and two hits over the final four frames.

Saturday, Elverado hosts Z-R-C and Century. S-WP, which played Z-R-C Friday night at Dowell, plays Pope County and Johnston City Saturday.
