Boys Indoor Track: Thinclads Send Four to EIU Meet

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Du Quoin High School's Boys Track and Field completed the indoor season with a 31st place finish at the Charleston Invitational Saturday.

Held at Eastern Illinois University, the meet brought together over 80 teams from all around the state.

The Indians had 12 points with sophomore Karson Hoffman (24.17) placing third in the 200 meter dash.

Trevor Hoffman (53.75) was sixth in the 400 and also took sixth (8.47) in the 55 meter high hurdles.

Also competing at EIU for the Indians were junior Chaz Bland (55 meter high hurdles, 25th, 9.52) and soph Brock Morgenstern (Shot Put, 18th, 41'4).

Weather permitting, the Indians start outdoor competition with a non-scored meet at Sparta Tuesday.
