‘Anything Goes' Opens Tonight on the Pinckneyville HS Stage
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ It's the best ticket in Southern Illinois this weekend as the Pinckneyville Community High School presents "Anything Goes" tonight, Friday and Saturday.
"Anything Goes" is a musical comedy written by Cole Porter. Familiar tunes include: "Anything Goes", "You're The Top", "I Get A Kick Out of You", "Heaven Hop", "Take Me Back To Manhattan", "Friendship" and "All Through The Night".
This years cast includes:DJ Keene - Billy Crocker; Ali Cannedy - Reno Sweeney; Jessica Voice - Hope Harcourt; Rachel Rheinecker - Mrs. Wadsworth Harcourt; Zac Sims - Elisha Whitney
Coleman Choate - Moonface Martin; Jayne Ballantyne - Sir Evelyn Oakleigh; Brooke Sutton - Purser; Erin Gross - Captain; Gabe Herbst - Bishop ; Bobbi Barnett - Steward; Hannah Travis - Reporter;Leah Eisenhauer - Cameraman; Shannon Wright - Chastity; Kaitlyn Hagene - Purity; Shannon Nehrkorn - Virtue; Jessi Peradotto - Charity; Ashley Beaty - Ching;Colleen Ryterski - Ling; Sailors and Passengers: Laine Justynski, Chelsea Kocian, Andrea Logsdon, Dustin McCurdy, Erica Morgan, Jessi Ross, Blake Thornton and Brad Thornton.
There are 50 tickets available for tonights show and a few available for Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $5.00 and the show begins at 7 p.m. in the PCHS Theater.
Over 80 students have been working on this years production since January. The cast, crew, pit band, art class and construction class have worked together along with their teachers and directors: Kerry Bean, Stephen Cannedy, Cathy Cunningham, Mary Jane Field and Sam Loiacono. Glenna Pfau was responsible for costumes and George McPheeters for set work.
