South Peach Street Home Burglarized

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ The Du Quoin Police Department has spent the week investigating a burglary and theft from the Heather Melton home last weekend in the 100 block of South Peach Street between Poplar and Franklin Streets.

Police did not publicize the breakin in hopes of solving the case quickly.

A number of expensive items were taken from the house--located in the heart of the community two blocks from the Du Quoin High School.
