Du QUOIN BASEBALL: Tribe hosts Pepsi/Mid-America Classic Saturday

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Two out-of-area teams join host Du Quoin for the 6th Annual Pepsi/Mid-America Classic Saturday at the Ballpark at DHS.

The Indians start against Red Bud at 10 a.m. with Flora battling Red Bud in the middle contest, slated for 12 noon.

At approximately 2 p.m., the final game matches Du Quoin vs. Flora.

Friday afternoon, the Indians (4-2) dropped a 12-11 heartbreaker against Class 3A Mt. Vernon.

Du Quoin's seeking its third outright title in the PMAC. Last year, the Indians and Eldorado shared first place.

More information on the Mt. Vernon game- and the Du Quoin tourney- will appear on this site by late weekend.
