ARENA LEAGUE 2: Eight More TD Passes for Nick Hill
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ The Rio Grande Valley Dorados posted the second-most points in franchise history in a 77-50 win over the Corpus Christi Sharks Saturday night at Dodge Arena in front of 5,041 fans.
RGV improved to 3-1 with the win and kept pace in the Southwest Division with the Arkansas Twisters, who won Friday night at Green Bay. The Sharks fall to 1-3.
Du Quoin's Nick Hill tossed eight touchdowns, including four to Anthony Chambers. Hill finished with 15 completions on 26 attempts and was intercepted once while throwing for 198 yards.
Chambers' 14-yard reception with 6:26 remaining in the second quarter gave RGV a 22-19 lead.
The Dorados didn't relinquish the lead from there. Travis McAlpine added to the RGV lead, following Chambers' TD grab with a 35-yard interception return.
After the teams traded six TD's of the game, RGV scored seven of the next 10 through the second and third quarters.
RGV visits Oklahoma City next Friday night and returns home on Monday, May 11, vs. Amarillo.
