Accidents
On 7-20-09 John D. Lambert, 58, of Coulterville, IL, was involved in an accident on Rt. 13/127. He struck an animal in the roadway near Galum Church Road.
On 7-20-09 Erika L. Hamilton, 18, of East St. Louis, IL, and Charles R. Kessel, 60, of Sparta, IL, were involved in an accident on State Rt. 127 North. Hamilton was passing Kessel and came back into Kessel's lane to quickly to avoid a head on accident. Hamilton struck the front end of Kessel's vehicle and fled the scene. Was stopped a short time later by Illinois State Police.
On 7-21-09 Tammy S. Martin, 46, of Coulterville, IL, was involved in an accident on State Rt. 13, 500 ft. west of Zinnia Road. Martin struck a deer in the roadway, causing damage to her vehicle.
