</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Two dozen little girls were guests of the Du Quoin Public Library recently for the "Fancy Nancy" children's book series party that included lessons on etiquette, dress-up and makeup. Library board member Doris Rottschalk tells kids why you wouldn't wear tennis shoes to a fancy party. French instructor Mrs. Barbara Croessman and French Club members Kara Baker and Molly Miller, Brooke Derby and Erica Rainwater manned makeover tables where kids could get "fancy." Kids also got to meet a real queen, Rachel Brock before the morning ended.
