Lane Reduction in Pinckneyville

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Illinois Department of Transportation would like to alert motorists traveling in the vicinity of the Pinckneyville square to upcoming lane reductions and road closures as listed below:

Lane Reduction: beginning Friday, Sept. 18 and continuing through Friday, Oct. 30, the south section of the Pinckneyville square and one block south to Mulberry Street will be reduced to one lane and the traffic flow will be controlled by flagmen. No truck traffic will be allowed. Trucks should follow marked detour routes.

Road Closure: beginning Saturday, Sept. 19 at 12:01 a.m. and continuing through 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, Route 13/127 will be closed to all traffic from Mulberry Street to the Pinckneyville square.

The above described lane reductions and road closures are necessary to allow the highway contractors to remove and replace the pavement in this area.
