SIRR Volleyball Rivals Night: Lady Indians Handle Pinckneyville

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Du Quoin High School Girls Volleyball team put together one of its most impressive matches of the season Thursday night, streaking to a pair of convincing wins over Perry County rival Pinckneyville.

Scores were 25-6 and 25-17 as the Lady Indians improved to 10-13 overall.

In River-to-River Conference play, Du Quoin's record is 4-3 within the Mississippi Division.

Saturday, the Lady Indians compete in the always-tough Marion Invitational Tournament.

Freshman middle hitter Rebekah Maddox topped Du Quoin with 13 kills.

Kelsey Toler added seven kills as Megi Jones passed out a dozen assists.

Keawna Anders (12) and Toler (10) were points leaders for the Lady Tribe. Curry Emling added seven points.

Pinckneyville won both the junior varsity and varsity matches. No Lady Panther stats were available.
