Panthers Come Up Empty at Chester
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Tim Sullins had four rushing touchdowns and Chester whooped up on Pinckneyville 42-0 on homecoming night at W.O. Smith Field.
Bryant Shute led the Panthers with 39 of the team's 96 rushing yards. The Panthers managed just 6 yards of positive offense in the second half in falling to 2-6 on the season.
The meeting marks the end of Chester's tenure in the Southern Illinois River-to-River Conference Mississippi Division, as the Jackets swap with Carterville for 2010.
Pinckneyville closes out their season at Breese Central next Friday in the final meeting between the Panthers and Cougars. Pinckneyville will add Dupo to next year's schedule to replace the game.
