McDaniel fired an 89 in her final round, ending the two-day event with a score of 191. That was good enough to earn 35th place among 99 golfers entered.
"Heather didn't have a very good day at all Friday," Lady Panthers coach Dennis Kania said. "She had six bad holes in the round after getting off to a great start with three straight pars. The weather conditions, with the wet course, were very poor."
Saturday, McDaniel played a steady 18 holes and ended up shooting 89.
"She only had one bad hole Saturday," Kania said. "She has had a very good year and I will be interested to see how she develops in the next three years."
