Girls Junior High Basketball: Tamaroa Tourney in Stretch Run
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Perry County rivals Pinckn eyville (#204) and Tamaroa/St. Bruno remained on a collision course towards the championship game of the T/SB Lady Indian Invitational, following convincing wins Thursday.
The host T/SB squad ripped Thompsonville 35-16 and #204 easily handled Bethel-McClellan.
Kayla Harris scored 14 points and had a game-high eight rebounds as the Lady Indians romped.
Bailey Nippe added eight points, four assists and four rebounds.
Dalis Hubler led T/SB with six assists and six steals.
"We played better tonight," Lady Indians coach Jim Harris said. "We had a solid effort at both ends of the court."
Jordan Koenegstein added six points with Haley Szczepanski netting four points and Hubler three.
The tournament concludes with a six-game session on Saturday.
#204 and T/SB are slated to meet at 2:40 p.m. to conclude the event.
T/SB and #204 share the tourney lead with 3-0 records.
Herrin (OLMC), Thompsonville and B-M are all 1-2. Shawnee remains winless at 0-3.
