Tuesday, Du Quoin welcomed Nashville (Middle School) to DMS Gym,
The Lady Warriors dipped to 3-7 or 3-8 with the loss and play again Thursday versus Murphysboro (Middle School).
Bailie Caldwell scored eight points against #204 with Katrina Whitley and Morgan Dennis each adding six.
Alyssa Hirsch tossed in a game-high 14 to pace the Lady Tigers. Megan Bagley was close behind with 12.
DMS (4-2) won the seventh grade game, 22-11, as Jacqueline Harsy scored 10 points.
PJHS BOYS WHIP TRICO
Pinckneyville (Junior High School) won its Junior Southwestern Egyptian Conference (Jr. SWEC) opener, handling Trico (Junior High School) 59-43.
Justyn Rushing (18), Lucas Carter (16) and Robbie Mueller (10) were top scorers for the Junior Panthers, who led 29-16 by halftime.
Nick Dobbs paced TJHS with 18. Kyle Hammel added 15 more.
