Billikens continue hot start; Career-highs for Cassity

The Billikens (2-0) shot 47.8 percent from the field in the second half and hit seven 3-pointers in the game to the Huskers' one to claim the win. The Huskers drop to 1-1 with the loss.

Kwamain Mitchell led all scorers with 20 points (7-for-10 from the field), Christain Salecich added 11 and Femi John chipped in nine. Willie Reed neared a double-double with nine rebounds and seven points, while Kyle Cassity posted eight points and seven rebounds. Sek Henry collected a team-high 14 points for Nebraska, while Ryan Anderson had 10 points. Toney McCray added nine points and a team-best eight caroms.

The numbers for Cassity, a Pinckneyville Community High School graduate, were career-highs for both points and rebounds.
