Monday's Basketball Roundup: Lady Falcons Fall, Jr. Panther Boys Romp

The host team dropped a 65-26 decision to Sesser-Valier/Waltonville in Piper/Valerius Gymnasium and is now 0-6 overall.
Thursday night, Elverado hosts Carterville.
S-V/W is 3-1 and was also starting its BDC campaign.
Chelsea Cochran scored seven points to lead Elverado with Kelsi Teague adding six points.
Lorena Marlo and Ashley Miller paced S-V/W by scoring 11 points apiece. Chelsea Miller added 10.
JUNIOR HIGH ACTION
Monday night, Pinckneyville (Junior High School) jumped ahead early and never trailed, defeating Sesser-Valier (Middle School) 57-39 in boys play.
PJHS had 16 points from Chase Lazenby with Justyn Rushing scoring a dozen more.
Lucas Carter and Robbie Mueller each had nine points with Henry Dudek adding six and Brayden Cowley five.
