Boys Prep Basketball: 2010 Panther Showcase Features Expanded Schedule

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The expanded schedule has been released for the 3rd Annual Panther Basketball Showcase, Saturday, Jan. 30 at Pinckneyville Community High School.

A total of 11 games will be played- six of those varsity-at two sites in Pinckneyville.

Varsity contests begin at 12 noon with Greenville playing Waterloo Gibault. The 1:30 game features Sesser-Valier vs. Mt. Carmel with a big school match-up of Mt. Vernon playing McCluer North of Florissant, Mo. set for 3 p.m.

Du Quoin vs. Breese Mater Dei (4:30), Trico vs. Waltonville (6:00) and Pinckneyville vs. Metro East Lutheran of Edwardsville (7:30) complete the varsity line-up.

Five games were played at each level last year.

Once again, corporate sponsor for the Panther Showcase will be the First National Bank of Pinckneyville.

The junior varsity schedule is listed below:

Sesser-Valier vs. Greenville, 10 a.m. (Thomas Gym)

McCluer North vs. Mt. Vernon, noon (St. Bruno's Parish Hall)

Breese Mater Dei vs. Du Quoin, 1:30 (St. Bruno's Parish Hall)

Trico vs. Waltonville, 3:00 (St. Bruno's Parish Hall)

Pinckneyville vs. Metro East Lutheran, 4:30 (St. Bruno's Parish Hall)
