Chester falls to Anna-Jonesboro

The Chester boys basketball squad suffered a tough conference loss on Friday when they lost to Anna-Jonesboro by a score of 75-48. Anna-Jonesboro took control quickly and led by 20 after one quarter and 34 by halftime. The Yellowjackets did play better in the second half, but the deficit was far too large for them to get back into the game.

Offensive leaders for the Yellowjackets were Zach Lochhead with 14 points, Carlo Marconi with 12, Justin Woodward with 11, Brett Barthol with four, Dan Adams, Matt Hamilton and Matt Heberlie with two points apiece and Aaron Grah with one.
