Floyd P. Heisner,
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Floyd P. Heisner, 80, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 2:35 p.m., Monday, Jan. 18, 2010 at his residence.
Floyd had worked as a farmer. He had also worked at GS Metals and retired in 1995. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at Todds Mill. He was also a member of Perry County Farm Bureau. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea.
He was born Sept. 12, 1929 at Pinckneyville, Ill., the son of Arthur and Catherine (Bathon) Heisner.
He married Clara M. Flure on Aug. 29, 1953 at St. Bruno's Church in Pinckneyville, Ill. and she preceded him in death on July 5, 1988.
He is survived by three daughters - Susanne Liszewski and husband David M. of Summerfield, Ill., Mary Ann Jausel and husband Vernie of Pinckneyville, and Brenda Kay Heisner of Pinckneyville, three grandchildren - Amanda Joshu and husband Paul of Millstadt, David S. Liszewski of Du Quoin, and Dale McClurken of Pinckneyville, two great grandchildren - Tyler Joshu and Sophi Joshu, one brother - James Heisner of Pinckneyville, one sister - Rosalia Sroka of Pinckneyville, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, and two sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at Todds Mill with Fr. Bernard C. Goedde, Jr. officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Rosary was prayed at 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Burial was in the St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery at Todds Mill, Ill.
Friends may make memorials to Masses or St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
