Carol D. Endsley

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Carol D. Endsley, 69, of Du Quoin, went to be with the Lord at 9:55 a.m., Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin with her loving family at her side.

Carol was a homemaker and had worked at McDonald's in Du Quoin for five years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin.

She was born Nov. 11, 1940 at St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Newton J. and Marcella (Nichman) Richardson.

She married James R. Endsley on Sept. 25, 1959 at St. Louis, Mo. and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, three children - James R. Endsley, Jr. and wife Cindy of Little Rock, Ark., Barbara Kim and husband Yeong of Benton, Ill. and Robert L. Endsley and wife Julie of Godfrey, Ill., three sisters - Betty Endsley of Spring Hill, Fla., Jean Walker of Brooksville, Fla., and Joan Gould of Hudson, Fla., seven grandchildren - Michael Endsley and wife Charla, Nichole Endsley, Brandon Kim, Mackenzie Kim, Alexandrea Endsley, Robert Endsley, Jr. and Joseph Endsley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister in infancy.

Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday.

Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin at a later date.

Friends may make memorials to the First Baptist Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
