</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Southern Illinois basketball fans will get the matchup they wanted to see next Wednesday night at the Herrin Sectional.
Pinckneyville knocked off Sparta 55-42 on Friday night behind 20 points from Drew Dudek to claim the IHSA Class 2A Chester Regional championship and advance into a showdown with Du Quoin next week.
A 10-0 run to end the first half was the key stretch for the Panthers, holding the Bulldogs to just a three-pointer in the second period after holding a slim two-point lead at the end of the first.
Nathan Morton joined Dudek in double figures with 11 points.

Note -
1. Fans wanting to buy tickets will be allowed on school property at 6:00 a.m. on Monday morning. The doors to Thomas Gym will be opened at that time. If fans want to come and get in line, they are welcome to do so at 6:00 a.m.
2. Fans may NOT part in the front, middle, or back lots of PCHS. Fans may park in the two lower lots on school property, the lot south of the football field and the lot east of the football field.
3. Only fans in line will be sold tickets. There are NO sign-up sheets.
