Bena Vallowe

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bena Vallowe passed away Feb. 26, 2010 at the Golden Care Center in Aloha, Oregon.

She was born Dec. 22, 1911 at Scheller, Ill. to William and Rose (Goodi) Stelmaszewski. She married Martin Vallowe in 1954.

She is survived by two daughters, Rose Ann Cox of Navarre, Fla. and Phyllis (Clarence) Majewski of Du Quoin; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one great-grandchild and three brothers.

Her cremains will be buried with her husband in Williamette National Cemetery, Portland, Ore.

Holman, Hankins Funeral Home of Portland, Oregon was in charge of arrangements.
