John Clifford Lynch
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[John Clifford Lynch, 64, of Tamaroa, passed away at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at his residence.
John was a mobile D.J. for Midwest Sound and Light Show and had the Home Handyman business in Tamaroa. He had also worked at Tesa Tape in Carbondale. He was of the protestant faith. John was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Viet Nam War.
He was born Sept. 1, 1945 at Davenport, Iowa, the son of Lyle Clifford and Sarah Jane (Crabill) Lynch.
John married Cynthia S. Sutton on July 1, 1967 at Rockford, Ill. and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, mother- Sarah Jane Lynch of Rockford, son- John Mitchell Lynch of Tamaroa, two daughters- Genevieve Louise Peterson of Sesser and Natalie Sue Juhl of Du Quoin, eight grandchildren- Skye, Eric, Skylar, Dalton, Cade, Ashley, Garrett and Drake, and sister- Carol Lynch of Rockford.
He was preceded in death by his father.
At John's request, his body was donated to the SIU School of Medicine at Carbondale so that others might benefit from his generosity.
A memorial service to celebrate John's life was at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Michael Ebersohl officiating.
