Sheila Irene Heumann

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sheila Irene Heumann, 74, of Du Quoin, passed away at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 11, 2010 at her residence.

Sheila was a homemaker and had worked at Turco Mfg., Du Quoin Cookie Factory and for 20 years at Decca Records. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Du Quoin.

She was born March 11, 1936 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Eugene and Aubra Della (Smith) Selby.

Sheila married Wilford D. Heumann on Oct. 17, 1954 at Cornith, Miss. and he passed away July 21, 1994.

She is survived by three daughters- Tina Heumann of Pinckneyville, Kimberly Beltz and husband Randy and Jean Ann Wheatley and husband David all of Du Quoin, two sons- Wilford Heumann Jr. and wife Crystal of Benton, Mark Heumann and wife Dawn of Du Quoin, thirteen grandchildren- Nicholas Pittman, Amanda Pittman, Olivia Pittman, Dillon Beltz, Daulton Beltz, Sydney Heumann, Samuel Heumann, Melissa Heumann, Matthew Heumann, Alexa Heumann, Devon Wheatley, Ross Wheatley, Dakota Wheatley, one great grandchild- Trenton Heumann, special friends- Judy Anheuser and Lillian Pulke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother- Gerald Selby, sister- Doris Jean Selby, grandson- Joshua Heumann, and great granddaughter- Kaitlynn Heumann.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the Perry County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
