Dogwood-Azalea Festival trip
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The April 17th bus trip to Charleston, Missouri for its annual Dogwood Azalea Festival is nearing the deadline for reservations. Margaret Pierce, representative of Robbins Tours, is organizing the group who will travel by chartered, restroom equipped, bus to Charleston. The first event is the annual parade and a visit to the old-fashioned picnic and crafts area. Tour participants will eat lunch there from one of the many stands. Trip highlights include a tour of Charleston and the Dogwood Azalea Trail, a visit to the annual Quilt Show, a piano concert at the First Baptist Church, a fish fry at he Kiwanis Club, old-fashioned ice cream at the Masonic Lodge and an evening drive along the Candlelight Walk (a seven mile route of the Dogwood Azalea Trail). The bus will make pickups in Sparta and Chester. Those who have already made reservations need to make sure Pierce has a phone number to contact them.
