DMS Volleyball: Lady Warriors win another regional

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Du Quoin (Middle School) is again bound for the Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association (SIJHSAA) Class L Volleyball elite eight following Friday's Region VI championship.

The Lady Warriors, 29-2, dispatched Trico (Junior High School) 25-12, 25-20 at Herrin to earn a fourth consecutive trip to state.

At 1 o'clock Saturday, the two-time defending state champions play 2,400-student Triad Middle School of St. Jacob in the last of four quarterfinal games.

The win was the fourth this season over Trico.

"They knew what we had and we knew what they had," Lady Warriors coach Isaac Miller said. "We had a good game and really cut down on our mistakes."
