NCAA Track and Field: Du Quoin's Doerflein repeats SEMO title
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ The Southern Illinois women's track and field team won the 2010 Joey Haines Invitational hosted by Southeast Missouri State, while the men finished second Friday and Saturday at the Abe Stuber Complex.
The women scored 171.50 points to win the 19-event meet, followed by Lincoln (Mo.) with 86. Memphis (85.33), SEMO (83.33) and Arkansas State (83) rounded out the top five.
Memphis won the men's team title with 146.5 points, the Salukis in second by just eight and half points with 138.
In the men's jumps, Cody Doerflein of Du Quoin won his second-straight pole vault title at the Joey Haines Invite, clearing 17-02.75 (5.25m).
The Salukis return to action April 10 at the Ole Miss Relays.
